About Us

Cold Blooded Merch is a reptile apparel brand. We make t-shirts. The t-shirts have bearded dragons, snakes, and lizards on them doing things that would make your non-reptile-owning friends uncomfortable. People seem to like that. 

HOW IT STARTED 

If you own a reptile, you already know the deal. Nobody gets it. Your coworkers think your bearded dragon is weird. Your family asks why you can't just get a normal pet. Meanwhile you're over here googling "is my beardie mad at me or just sleepy" at 11pm on a Tuesday like it's totally normal. Because it is.

We started Cold Blooded Merch because reptiles deserve to be celebrated, not misunderstood. Every other pet owner gets to wear their obsession on their sleeve. Cat mom shirts? Everywhere. Dog dad hats? Every store on the planet. But reptile owners? We got clip art on a Hanes tee and a lot of weird looks. That didn't sit right with us.  

So we built it ourselves. A small brand out of Texas with two cats named Salem and Miso judging every design decision.  

The whole point of this brand is to flip the script on how people see our scaly friends. Reptiles aren't scary, they're not gross, and they're definitely not boring. They're hilarious, fascinating, wildly misunderstood little creatures that deserve to be shown off. Every design we put out comes from actually living this life, not from some boardroom brainstorm. The humor, the references, the little things that only reptile people understand. If you know, you know. And if someone asks about your shirt, even better. Now you've got a conversation starter and a chance to show them 47 photos of your beardie whether they asked or not.  

THE SHIRTS

We're picky about what we print on. Every tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, which is a garment-dyed heavyweight cotton shirt that feels like you've owned it for years the first time you put it on. No thin, scratchy blanks. No prints that crack after two washes. Just soft, quality tees that actually last.   We're based in Texas and we care a lot about what shows up at your door. Every order gets attention. That's not a marketing line, it's just how we operate when your name's on the brand.  

ORGANIZATIONS WE STAND BEHIND

Reptiles deserve better PR. That's kind of the whole point of this brand. But beyond the shirts, we believe in standing behind the organizations actually doing the work to protect reptiles and the people who keep them. We're proud members of Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC) and the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (USARK), two organizations fighting for reptile conservation and responsible ownership rights. Because if we're going to put reptiles on shirts, we should probably help make sure they're still around for future generations to argue with their families about.
